The Philadelphia Eagles are a storied franchise in the NFL….one significant part of this long lasting story was spent as lovable losers from the early 1949’s to 1978…OK Eagle fans….there was 1960…..the year the Eagles won the NFL Championship (prior to Super Bowl 1)….and then came Coach Dick Vermeil in 1976…..and the long time losers became consistent winners….and have remained so into the 2000’s. From 1976 to 1984, the Philadelphia Eagles were more than relevant.
