Tribute To Hank Williams – Kris Kristofferson Sings I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry

There is an old saying when folks and dogs gather around the campfire that the good die young…..with names like Tim Richmond, Janis Joplin, Jimmie Hendricks, Jim Morrison, Len Bilas, Salvador Sanchez and many others…..for in the case of Singer / Songwriter Hank Williams….this saying could never be more true. Hank wrote many songs that has spanned the test of time already….including Your Cheating Heart; Hey Hey Good Looking; Kaw-liga; I Can’t Help It If I’m Still In Love With You; Jambalaya; Why Don’t You Love Me Like You Used To Do et al…..but none more beloved and remade by so many as I’m So Lonesome I Could Die.

Often when I am working on a post….it leads me to something really wonderful that I just love about HUMANS…..and sharing the music of Hank Williams and the legacy of wonderful songs that he wrote and sang….here is an awesome example of the inspiration of Hank Williams in the 2013…..some 60 years later.
