Toni Bürgler is a Swiss former alpine skier who competed in the 1980 Winter Olympics…..as well as the 1978 Alpine Skiing World Cup Championship series….as seen in this video herewith at the Aspen, Colorado event…..which was an event that ABC’s Wide World of Sports covered with legendary sportscaster Jim McKay and sidekick, Bob Beattie…..who traveled the world with McKay while bringing sporting events of all kinds and nature to the world…..when the alpine skiing men’s downhill was ruled by the Swiss, Austrians and West Germans.
