We have seen a sufficient amount of in-race interviews with race car owners….to understand that the owners of these “expensive racing machines” don’t really have time to “visit” during the race…..and knowing that they basically do these interviews because the network contract requires that so many in-race, in-the-pits interviews with car owners, crew chiefs and drivers…..and that is why their answers are always short and to the point…..as the interview amounts to less than a minute….as evidenced by this video seen herewith….when ABC’s Jack Arute has his 49 seconds in the pits with Ron Hemelgarn, owner of driver Arie Luyendyk’s car.
