Auto Racing – 1987 – Indy 500 – Special Feature – Race Leader Roberto Guerrero And The Pit Stop From Hell

This 5 minute video embodies the famous Jim McKay sports line of “the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat” description of sports all in less than 5 minutes…..as 1987 Indy 500 driver Roberto Guerrero pits his car….while leading by more than a lap over Al Unser Sr…..when after an 11.2 second pit stop….his engine stalls while departing the pits…..and his crew had to push his car back to the pits in order to get the engine started and getting him back into the race…..which he lost to Unser Sr by 4.5 seconds…..and that is why we call this THE PIT STOP FROM HELL!!!
