Best of ACL – Roy Clark and Gatemouth Brown & Jimmy Buffet & John Hartford

Is it ignorance or apathy? Hey man, I don’t know and I don’t care.                                                                                                                     Jimmy Buffett

DOG ASIDE:

Obviously, Bone Daddy and I can never quite get enough of Austin City Limits music….for in this lil ole Chiweenie’s opinion, ACL is possibly the best long running music program in the world….and this video is further evidence of my claim….as the first song Orange Blossom Special….is a combination of bands including Merle Haggard and the Strangers, Johnny Gimble, the Earl Scruggs Review and the Mel Tillis Band all playing the National Anthem of Country Music…..this is followed by Roy Clark and Gatemouth Brown, two super guitarists, playing a new version of Count Basie’s One O’clock Jump….awesome stuff…..then banjo virtuoso John Hartford providing his rendition of Rolling In My Sweet Baby’s Arms…..and topping off this musical medley with Jimmy Buffett singing Living My Life Like a Song…..does it get any better than this!?!!
