Boxing – 10 Rnd Welterweight Bout – Mark Breland VS Richard Aguirre

DOG COMMENTARY:

Mark Breland was a really good and almost great boxer with an outstanding career….who had he fought in any other era than during the golden age of boxing (1964 – 1995)….Breland might be recognized today as a super great boxer….but instead he is being lost in boxing history as a result of there being so many super great and legendary fighters to bless the ring during this incredible era of boxing.

Breland is a former world champion boxer from Brooklyn, NY….who won five New York Golden Gloves Titles and a gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.  At 6′ and two and a half inches tall, Breland is one of the tallest world welterweight champions of all time….who ended his career with a record of 35 wins 10 losses and 3 draws with 25 KO’s.

Richard Aguirre was a former professional boxer out of San Diego, CA…..who had a short career encompassing 16 wins 4 losses and 2 draws with 11 KO’s…..as Aguirre was a pretty good club fighter in the early 1980’s.
