Tony Perez is an American boxing referee and judge of Puerto Rican descent…..who during his career, he refereed many major boxing fights and participated in a number of boxing related documentaries.  Perez was active as a boxing referee during five decades….as he oversaw fights between 1968 and 2005….and was both acclaimed and criticized among boxing’s connoisseurs…. after he refereed 417 professional boxing fights in his career…..with many of the matches he refereed involved world boxing champions and Hall of Fame members.

Dwight Muhammad Qawi born Dwight Braxton is an American former professional boxer….who competed from 1978 to 1998. He was a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBC and Ring magazine light heavyweight titles from 1981 to 1983….and the WBA cruiserwt title from 1985 to 1986. Qawi was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004. 

Jerry Martin was a professional light heavyweight boxer out of Philadelphia, PA known at The Bull…..who held the NABF and USBA light heavyweight title in 1979 and 1980…..and fought for the world light heavyweight boxing title on three different occasions….in 1980 for the WBA title against Eddie Mustafa Muhammad….then in 1981 for the WBC title against Mathew Saad Muhammad…..and finally in 1982 for the WBC light heavywt title against Dwight Muhammad Qawi.
