Boxing – 1983 – 10 Rnd Lightwt Bout – John Montes Jr Vs Hector Camacho – With Tim Ryan + Gil Clancy

Héctor “Macho” Camacho was a Puerto Rican professional boxer and entertainer….who was known for his quickness in the ring and flamboyant style in and out of the ring…..as Camacho competed professionally from 1980 to 2010….and was a world champion in three weight classes…..when he held the WBC super featherweight title from 1983 to 1984….the WBC lightweight title from 1985 to 1987….and the WBO junior welterweight title twice between 1989 and 1992. 

John Montes Jr. was a lightwt and super lightwt professional boxer who fought such great lightwt champions as Hilmer Kenty, Pernell Whitaker, Cornileus Boza Edwards and Sammy Fuentes….along with the great Hector Camacho…..while finishing an outstanding boxing career of 44 wins and 6 defeats that spanned from 1979 to 1994.
