Boxing – 1983 – Tim Ryan PostFight Interview Of Winner Hector Camacho After His 1st Rnd KO Of Montes

What can you say about a fight that lasts 1:32….I mean, one minute 32 seconds…..except to say…. the challenger John Montes Jr. got KLOCKED !!!…..nothing more….he simply ran into a mack trruck in the form of Hector Macho Camacho’s left hook…..and Montes went down like a sack of bricks.

Macho Camacho is a real favorite here at ImaSportsphile…..as we are “tickled pink” to have the extensive collection of Hector’s work…..both in and out of the ring….for he was truly special and always entertaining. We consider Hector Camacho to be one of the “Legends of Boxing” from the “Golden Age of Boxing” from 1964 to 1995…..which was an age that produced true legends of the sport in darn near every weight class…..but few had a resume of 79 wins 6 losses 3 draws….with world titles in three different divisions….over a 30 year professional career that spanned from 1980 to 2010.
