What can you say about a fight that lasts 1:32….I mean, one minute 32 seconds…..except to say that challenger John Montes Jr. ran into a “mac-truck” driven by a buzz-saw named Hector “Macho” Camacho’s left hook…..and Montes went down like a sack of bricks. Hector Camacho is a real favorite here at ImaSportsphile…..as we are “tickled pink” to have the extensive collection of Hector’s work…..both in and out of the ring….for he was truly special and always entertaining. We consider him to be one of the “Legends of Boxing” from the “Golden Age of Boxing” from 1964 to 1995….. for this was an age that produced true legends in dang near every division of boxing from light flyweight to super heavyweight…..but few of those legends compiled a better resume than Hector “Macho” Camacho’s…..with 79 wins 6 losses 3 draws….while capturing world titles in three different divisions over a 30 year professional career that spanned from 1980 to 2010.
