Frankie Warren was a super lightweight boxer out of Corpus Christi, Texas….who was the USBA super lightweight champion from in 1986 after defeating Ronnie Shields….then lost his challenge for the vacant IBF world super lightweight title in 1987 against James “Buddy” McGirt…..whom he had beaten by unanimous decision in 1986 for his USBA super lightweight title. Warren would again become USBA super lightweight champion in 1988….when he defeated Clarence Coleman by unanimous decision. Frankie Warren would retire from professional boxing in 1989 after a seven year career with 30 wins with 20 KO’s and 2 losses.
