Martha HyerĀ (August 10, 1924 – May 31, 2014) was an American actress….who is best remembered for her role as Gwen French inĀ Some Came RunningĀ in 1958….for which she was nominated for theĀ Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Paris HolidayĀ is a 1958Ā comedy filmĀ starringĀ Bob Hope….which was directed byĀ Gerd OswaldĀ and written by Edmund Beloin….who was Hope’s attorney….andĀ Dean RiesnerĀ from a story by Hope. The film also features French comedianĀ Fernandel,Ā Anita EkbergĀ andĀ Martha Hyer….and a rare appearance by writer/directorĀ Preston Sturges. The film was shot inĀ TechniramaĀ andĀ TechnicolorĀ inĀ Paris….and in the French village ofĀ Gambais.
