Bone Daddy recorded more than 150 episodes of Saturday Night Live during the 1970’s and 1980’s…..and after transferring each of these episodes from Sony Betamax cassette to digital….thus having watched almost every skit from every show over a 12 year period….I can honestly say that Chevy Chase was a master of physical comedy….which is a form of comedy focused on manipulation of the body for a humorous effect….as it can include slapstick, clowning, mime, physical stunts, or making funny faces….for physical comedy originated as part of the Commedia Dell’arte….and Chevy Chase was a master of the art….much like former comedians like Dick Van Dyke, Lucille Ball, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keeton et al.
