Every now an then as I am clawing my way through the 2300 hours of vintage sports, comedy and music video library that I am posting to this site….I run across something that is really special….like this program titled Those Fabulous Clowns….which was hosted by Richard Kiley….is one of those hidden treasures.
As Kiley takes us through the history of clowns in the cinema….we get a wonderful glimse of all the great clowns of all time….including Ed Wynn, Al Jolson, Buster Keeton, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, W. C . Fields and so many more.
The footage in this video is truly a treasure worth watching over and over.
