Tracy Wilson and partner Rob McCall were a Canadian ice dance team that won the Canadian national championship seven times from 1982 – 1988….and were three-time World Figure Skating Championships bronze medalist….and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics bronze medalist.
In the summer of 1981, Wilson teamed up with Rob McCall….as their partnership started at the Elgin Barrow Arena in Richmond Hill, Ontario…..where they trained throughout their competitive careers…..in which together they won the Canadian national championship seven times…..along with winning the Skate Canada International competition in 1983 and 1987….whereby the 1983 gold was the first time a Canadian team won the event. The pair were three-time World Figure Skating Ice Dance bronze medals in 1986 (as seen in this video herewith), 1987 and 1988. They competed at the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympic and the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympic….where they won the bronze medal….which was also Canada’s first Olympic medal in ice dancing.
