The 1985 Masters Golf Tournament was carried in its entirety on national television……as USA Network carried Rounds 1 and 2…..while CBS Sports carried Rounds 3 and 4…..and that explains why in this Butler Cabin interview after Round 2 as seen in this video herewith……depicts Al Trautwig in a blazer jacket with a USA Network patch on his coat pocket…..while Brent Musburger and Tom Weiskopf both have on blazer jackets with CBS patches on their jackets.
As the 2nd Round finished, the top of the leader board was held at -4 by Craig Stadler, Payne Stewart and Tom Watson……who had a one shot lead over Gary Halberg…..and a two shot lead over Gary Koch, Seve Ballesteros and Raymond Floyd……as this 1985 Masters Tournament was surely up for grabs as the tournament went into weekend play.
