Golf – 1985 – The Masters – The Butler Cabin Analysis With Al Trautwig + Brent Musburger + Tom Weiskopf

In our current world of November 2019, everything seems to be driven by “instant gratification” no matter what the subject might be….and as a result of this universal mental framework, we here at ImaSportsphile are finding that a large number of our viewers really enjoy our “short snippets” of vintage video…..whether it be 30 second TV ads or 55 seconds with Al Trautwig, Brent Musburger and Tom Weiskopf talking about the effects of the winds at Augusta National Golf Course in Butler’s Cabin.  The truth of the matter is that we are delighted that Bone Daddy, the original Sportsphile, took the time to cut out all of the wonderful snippets that are found in our site.

The conversation seen in this video takes place in The Butler Cabin….which is one of the most historic properties at Augusta….and is a place in which Masters Champions remember with great fondness….  as immediately after winning the tournament, the player who wins the Masters will be swiftly directed to the Butler Cabin….where he will be interviewed for the first time as a Champion. The victorious player will also be presented with his Green Jacket for the first time by the previous year’s champion. Over the years this has thrown up some interesting moments such as Tiger Woods giving the Green Jacket to arch rival Phil Mickelson….and Jordan Spieth giving the Jacket to Danny Willet after seemingly throwing away the tournament himself on the back nine…..which he still has not recovered from….so, any conversation at The Butler Cabin is well worth the price of admission to watch.
