Hord Hardin (January 3, 1912 – August 5, 1996) was the President of the United States Golf Association (USGA) from 1968 to 1969….who then became Chairman of the Masters Tournament and the Augusta National Golf Club from 1980 to 1991. Earlier in his career he worked as a lawyer…..while also competing in six U.S. Amateurs Tournaments between 1953 and 1963….and was instrumental in the relocation of the Bellerive Country Club…..where he won the club championship 22 times.
After posting several “Butler Cabin Green Jacket Presentations” to Masters winners hosted by Hardin during his chairmanship….in which he had “warm and humorous” conversation with Masters champions…..for which we have grown to like and enjoy…. as it’s our opinion that all things Hord Hardin are worth the price of admission to watch this video herewith.
