Golf – 1987 – Los Angeles Open – CBS Pat Summerall Updates 3rd Round Action With T C Chen In Lead

During this 1987 CBS Sports Saturday update of the 3rd round of the PGA Los Angeles Open Tournament ….Pat Summerall provides an overview of the leaderboard with T C Chen leading Rick Fehr by three strokes….while leading Ben Crenshaw by four…..and Seve Ballesteros by five. The overview of the leaderboard is followed by highlights of Craig Stadler….who was seemingly treated unfairly by a ruling during the tournament…..to which CBS set up a call in phone line to get fan reaction to whether they thought Stadler was treated unfairly…..for it is videos like this short piece that set ImaSportsphile aside from the typical video library currently online….as we feel that videos like this one are why our site is so diverse and different from all others…..cuz these “lil pearls” are just more wonderful jewels in our treasure chest of vintage memories.

  • The Murmanschanns, what a duo, I remember them from this show, the Muppets, Sesame Street and other shows. They are the most unique mime artists to grace this Earth. I thought they were amazing and these two routines prove it.
