Gymnastics – 1985 – America Cup Competition – Mens Horizontal Bar Finals – USA Tim Daggett

DOG ASIDE:

Timothy P. (Tim) Daggett (born May 22, 1962) is a former American gymnast….who won an Olympic gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics….along with Bart Conner, Peter Vidmar and Mitch Gaylord in the overall team competition…..where Daggett scored a perfect 10 on the horizontal bar….thus assisting his team in winning a gold medal for the first for the U.S. men’s gymnastics team in Olympic history.  In addition to the team gold medal….he earned an individual bronze medal on the pommel horse. 

Tim Dagget was the men’s star at the 1985 America Cup Gymnastics Competition…..where he won the horizontal bar competition…..as seen in this video herewith….as well as winning the men’s overall gold….as he alone from the successful 1984 Olympics Gymnastics Team….was the last to compete through the World Championship…..as the other entered the limelight of professional skating.  In 2005, Tim Daggett was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame.
