Coming from West Texas…..Bone Daddy has a warm spot in his heart for cowboys…..especially rodeo cowboys…..as he attended his 1st Midland Rodeo when he was 7 years old in 1954…..participating in the Greased Pig contest…..a true hoot and a holler for all participants and fans. The Mesquite Rodeo Championship….along with The Calgary Stampede and Rodeo…..have been at the core of the rodeo industry for some 30 years now…..as evidenced by these highlights from the 1978 Rodeo in Mesquite, Texas.
