MLB – 1985 All Star Game – Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome – 9th Inning

DOG COMMENTARY:

The 1985 MLB All Star Game was aired on NBC with broadcast legends Vin Scully & Joe Garagiola & Bob Costas on the mikes….as the game was held at the Hubert h. Humphrey Metrodome….home of the Minnesota Twins in midtown Minneapolis….with a radio audience of  17,400,400….and a television viewing audience of 28,210,000….as MLB was very still popular in 1985.

This 9th inning of the game featured 6 future Hall of Fame Members in P Goose Gossage, OF Paul Molitor, 3B Wade Boggs, OF Jim Rice, 2B Ryne Sandberg….and Manager Dick Williams, who is most important to this lil ole chiweenie Sportsphile….cuz Bone Daddy got to sit at his bar Madison Square Garden in Austin, Texas a and talk to Hall of Fame Manager Dick Williams for an hour….for Bone Daddy calls it one of the greatest conversations he has had with a sports personality….saying as he walked away from the meeting….THAT WAS REALLY COOL….and so is this video.
