i am just a simple chiweenie Sportsphile….who grew up with the original Sportsphile….the guy who was responsible for taping the 2300 hours of vintage sports, comedy and music that I have undertaken the daunting task of posting the entire cotent of this library….which was recorded on Sony Betamax cassette recorders some 26 – 39 years ago….but I have always said that if the original Sportsphile could video tape 2300 hours of content….then I could post 2300 hours of content on this site….cuz anything the 1st Sportsphile can do…. the 2nd Sportsphile can do.
To date, I have posted some 500 hours of that library….which has taken me 1.5 years to to post some 1700 vintage videos…. so, it will take me at least 5 years at my current pace to accomplish my goal…and I said all of that to say this….this video is MY VERY FAVORITE VIDEO to date….for having grown up around the game of baseball….this video expresses my love for the game in 1 minute and 25 seconds.
