Music – 1956 – Bob Hope + Eva Marie Saint – That Certain Feeling – From Movie Of The Same Name

That Certain Feeling is a 1925 song composed by George Gershwin….with lyrics by Ira Gershwin…. which was introduced by Allen Kearns and Queenie Smith in the 1925 movie musical Tip-Toes…..as It was later used as the title of a 1956 Bob Hope film….when it was performed during the opening credits by  Pearl Bailey…..and later reprized by Bob Hope in That Certain Feeling….which was a 1956 American  comedy film directed by Norman Panama and Melvin Frank….and starring Bob Hope, Eva Marie Saint, and George Sanders…..in a cast that also features Pearl Bailey and a young Jerry Mathers.

Based on a Broadway play, the film includes a song of the same name….and sung by Bob Hope and Eva Marie Saint….as seen in this video herewith.  Pearl Bailey was one of many singers who made a recording of this Gershwin song.
