Bill Murray is an American actor, comedian, filmmaker and writer…..who first rose to fame on Saturday Night Live…..in a series of performances that earned him his first Emmy Award…as evidenced by his “singing dogs” act seen in this video herewith…..where his dogs perform Hava Nagila and The Age Of Aquarius.
Later, Murray starred in so really classic comedy films such as Meatballs in 1979….Caddyshack in 1980…. Stripes in 1981…..Tootsie in 1982….Ghostbusters in 1984….Scrooged in 1988….Ghostbusters II in 1989…. What About Bob? in 1991….and Groundhog Day in 1993….as he also co-directed Quick Change in 1990. Murray later starred in Lost in Translation in 2003….which earned him a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor….as well as an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. He also frequently collaborated with directors Wes Anderson and Jim Jarmusch….as he received Golden Globe nominations for his roles in Ghostbusters in 1984, Rushmore in 2008, Hyde Park on Hudson in 2012, St. Vincent in 2014 and the HBO miniseries Olive Kitteridge also in 2014….for which he later won his second Primetime Emmy Award.
