Music – 1977 – Leo Sayer – You Make Me Feel Like Dancing – Sung Live On Stage In New York City

You Make Me Feel Like Dancing is a song credited to British singer Leo Sayer….which was taken from his 1976 album Endless Flight….as the song reached # 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart….thus  making it his first # 1 single in the United States…..while reaching # 2 on the UK Singles Chart….while  Billboard  ranked it as the # 13 song of 1977.  Credited songwriters Sayer and Vini Poncia won a Grammy Award for the song in 1978 in the category Best R&B Song.

Leo Sayer is an English-Australian singer-songwriter musician and entertainer….whose singing career has spanned four decades…..as Sayer launched his career in the United Kingdom in the early 1970’s…. and became a top singles and album act on both sides of the Atlantic.  His first seven hit singles in the United Kingdom all reached the Top 10….which is a feat first registered by his first manager, Adam Faith.
