Music – 1978 – Martin Mull – I Will Hate Myself In The Morning If I Have To Love Myself Tonight

You know…..there are some comedians that just really “tickle your funny bone”….and Martin Mull is one of those folks that just makes us laugh here at ImaSportsphile….cuz there is something about him that virtually no matter what he says….it makes us laugh….and when it comes to Mull’s music….it just takes us overboard….as his song “I Will Hate Myself In The Morning If I Have to Love Myself Tonight…..as seen in this video herewith….provides evidence of just how funny this man was….I mean, the title alone is hilarious.  

Martin Mull is an American actor and comedian….who has appeared in many television and film roles…. plus, he is also a painter, stand up comic, musician and recording artist.  As an actor, he first became known in his role on Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman….along with its spin-off Fernwood 2 Night.  Among his other notable roles are Colonel Mustard in the 1985 film Clue….Leon Carp on Roseanne….Willard Kraft on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch….Vlad Plasmius on Danny Phantom….and Gene Parmesan on Arrested Development…..and he had a recurring role on Two and a Half Men as Russell, the drug-using, humorous pharmacist. 

Martin Mull is a rare and talented entertainer….of whom we are totally jazzed about having excerpts from his 1978 live concert in our treasure chest of vintage memories here at ImaSportsphile….for this is a rare treasure of comedic music.
