Music – 1981 – Austin City Limits – Roy Clark + Gatemouth Brown & John Hartford

DOG ASIDE:

There is absolutely nothing in our entire 2300 hours of vintage video that brings a bigger smile to this lil ole chiweenie Sportsphile than the music from Austin City Limits….and this video herewith is no exception….as it starts off with one of my very favorite pieces of country music….The Orange Blossom Special….being performed by some of the truly great bands like Mel Tillis + The Statesiders….Merle Haggard + The Strangers….Charlie Daniels Band….Earl Scruggs Revue….and the best fiddler ever, Austin’s own Johnny Gimble…..which is followed by renowned guitarists Roy Clark and Gatemouth Brown doing their own version of Count Bassie’s One O’clock Jump…..a rendition like no other…. then comes banjo master John Hartford’s Rolling In My Sweet Baby’s Arms.…followed by the one and only Jimmy Buffett plays Living My Life Like a Song….for this quadruple play music video is worth the watch any time any where.
