Music – 1982 – Down Home Country Music With Charlie Pride – Featuring Terri Gibb + Steve Wariner

Terri Gibbs is an American country music artist who between 1980 and 2017 recorded eleven studio albums….including four for MCA Records and one for Warner Bros. Records….as she also charted 13 singles on the Billboard country singles charts during her career….including her debut single “Somebody’s Knockin'”….which reached # 8 on the country charts….# 13 on the pop charts….and # 3 on the Adult Contemporary charts….while she also entered the country top 20 with “Rich Man”, “Mis’ry River”, “Ashes to Ashes” and “Anybody Else’s Heart but Mine.”

Steve Wariner is an American country music singer, songwriter and guitarist….who initially was a backing musician for Dottie West….and also worked with Bob Luman and Chet Atkins before beginning a solo career in the late 1970’s. He has released eighteen studio albums for multiple labels, including the Nashville divisions of RCA, MCA, Arista and Capitol Records….along with his own SelecTone label….who  has also charted more than fifty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts….of which ten reached # 1, including “All Roads Lead to You”, “Some Fools Never Learn”, “You Can Dream of Me”, “Life’s Highway”, “Small Town Girl”, “The Weekend”, “Lynda”, “Where Did I Go Wrong”, “I Got Dreams”, and “What If I Said”, a duet with Anita Cochran….while three of his studio albums have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
