In this video seen herewith…..The Doobie Brothers lead guitarists Patrick Simmons and John McFee perform a “dueling guitars” instrumental piece that is indicative of their original “street boogie rock” music at their 1982 Farewell Concert Tour….and we love it….cuz The Doobie Brothers were exactly that…a “street boogie rock band”….in touch with the vibes on the street….and they could flat out play rock n roll music.

Our Bone Daddy, the original Sportsphile, who spent 12 years operating one of the truly “world class” sports bars ever anywhere….Madison Square Garden, The Sports Place at 302 East 6th Street in Austin, Texas in the 1970’s and 1980’s….for that is where this incredible video library was born and reared….as the entire collection of videos here ImaSportsphile were recorded on Sony BetaMax cassettes….which were replayed on one of the seven TV screens at The Garden….and as Bone Daddy puts it….“folks came in all the time and asked to watch a replay of the event that they desired to watch and if we had it, we’d replay it for them”….by the time Bone Daddy finished the 17 year journey of bringing live and video taped sports to Austin….he had amassed some 2300 hours of video taped content….all of which we are in the process of posting at ImaSportsphile….and after posting 5282 videos as of this post….and we have about 6800 more to go….so, Onward Through The FOG

  • The Murmanschanns, what a duo, I remember them from this show, the Muppets, Sesame Street and other shows. They are the most unique mime artists to grace this Earth. I thought they were amazing and these two routines prove it.
