Bone Daddy, the original Sportsphile, has attended upwards of 50 University of Texas Longhorn football games in his career as a Sportsphile…..and at each and every one of those home games, The Showband of the Southwest ….the University of Texas marching band….some 450 strong…..take the field before, at halftime and after every home game…..and no matter what year or what game…..they lived up to their name every time…..and we here at ImaSportsphile are “tickled burnt orange” to have this“nugget of gold” in our library and category specifically for The Showband of the Southwest many performances….for nothing goes better with sports than music…..as it fills the hearts and souls of football fans all over America….and readies them to get back to war and the second half.
