When I began to post this video seen herewith…..wherein the All American Olympic Band ….which is made up of 800 marching band musicians from all 50 States of the United States of America….who performed at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies….and many times in between the two…..at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games….that is when I called our Bone Daddy, the original Sportsphile, to inquire what it was like to be in the Los Angeles Coliseum for the Closing Ceremonies, and hearing this enormous band play our National Anthem…..and his comment was one word….AWESOME!!…as per his words….“the sound presented by the 800 strong All American Olympic marching band while playing the Star Spangled Banner penetrated every one of the 78,492 Olympic fans in their seats…..with notes of patriotism which suffused the hearts of every American”. Bone Daddy then put the “cherry on top of the sundae” by saying he had only experienced the same level of patriotism when he was commissioned as an officer in the U S Army in 1970.
