“While Strolling Through the Park“ is a song that was used in the 1941 Mickey Mouse cartoon, The Nifty Nineties.  The song was also in the album, Disney Sing Along Songs: Fun with Music…as well as 101 Notes of Fun….which was hosted by Professor Owl and Ludwig von Drake. This Sing Along Song was hugely popular….so, we thought sharing the lyrics might provide sufficient prove of why this Disney animation is so widely loved….as follows:

While strolling through the park one day,
In the merry merry month of May,
He was taken by surprise,
By a pair of roguish eyes,
In a moment his poor heart was stole away.

A smile was all she gave to him,
Of course she was as happy as can be,

He immediately raised his hat,
And finally she remarked,
He never will forget,
That lovely afternoon,
He met her at the fountain in the park.

  • The Murmanschanns, what a duo, I remember them from this show, the Muppets, Sesame Street and other shows. They are the most unique mime artists to grace this Earth. I thought they were amazing and these two routines prove it.
