NBA – 1987 Eastern Conference Playoffs – 1st Round – Game 5 – Philadelphia 76’ers VS Milwaukee Bucks

DOG ASIDE:

This 1987 NBA Eastern Conference 1st Round Playoffs featured the Philadelphia 76’ers….including Charles Barkley, Mo Cheeks, Tim McCormick, Cliff Robinson, Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Albert King, Roy Hinson, Mike Giminski, Andrew Toney, David Wingate and Dave Henderson and was coached by Matt Goukas….while their opponents the Milwaukee Bucks were lead by their coach Don Nelson….and included a roster of Terry Cummings, John Lucas, Jack Sikma, Paul Pressy, Sydney Moncrief, Randy Breuer, Junior Bridgeman, Mike Glenn, Jerome Henderson, Craig Hodges, Paul Mokeski, Cedric Henderson,Scott Skiles, and Marvin Webster.

The Bucks would eventually prevail in this 5-game playoff series 3 – 2…..but what makes this game video a “nugget of gold” in the Imasportsphile vintage video treasure chest….is the fact that this was the last professional game played by the basketball legend, Julius “Dr J” Erving….which makes this a must see video….and brings tremendous value to its worth in the annals on NBA history.
