NBC Pat O’Brien Profiles Career Of USA 400m Hurdles Star Edwin Moses

Edwin Corley Moses (born August 31, 1955) is an American former track and field athlete….who won gold medals in the 400m hurdles at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. Between 1977 and 1987….Moses won 107 consecutive finals (122 consecutive races) and set the world record in his event four times…..which means he would most likely have won his 3rd gold medal at 1980 Moscow Olympics….but that lil peanut thinking US President Jimmy Carter mandated that the US team would boycott the Russian Games….cuz the Soviets had invaded Afghanistan. Isn’t it interesting that the US has military troops on the ground in Afghanistan today in January 2016.
