There are not any two other NFL franchises that have any more storied history than the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants…..and 1985 was simply another great chapter in their history….as the Giants would finish the season with a 10 – 6 record…. then defeat the San Francisco 49’ers in the NFC Wild Card game….before facing the Bears in this Divisional Game….who had finish the regular season with a 15 – 1….on their way to winning Super Bowl XX.

This game featured 15 players that were selected to the 1985 Pro Bowl Game to include QB Phil Simms, RB Joe Morris, DE Leonard Marshall, LB Harry Carson and LB Lawrence Taylor of the Giants….asn LB Mike Singletary, DE Richard Dent, DT Steve McMichael, DE Dan Hamton, RB Walter Payton, QB Jim McMahon, OT Jimbo Covert, C Jay Hilgenberg, SS Dave Duerson and LB Otis Wilson….of which Lawrence Taylor, Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, Jimbo Covert and Steve McMichael were voted to the 1st All Pro Team…..which makes this video well worth the watch.
