DOG ASIDE:
The Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs have always had heated confrontations…..and this particular game of the week from the 1972 NFL season was certainly no different….except for the fact that in this particular game….history was made as the longest game played in the history of the NFL……a double overtime 27 – 24 victory by the Dolphins…..keeping the Chiefs from going to their third Super Bowl in a row.
