DOG COMMENTARY:
CBS sports commentators Pat Summerall and John Madden were a match made in Heaven…..as they had a special chemistry that transcends the typical broadcast teams….for this duo was more like Abbott & Costello. Yep, Summerall was dang near a carbon copy of comedian Lou Costello….the intelligent….articulate….decisive straight man for Bud Abbott’s look alike (only taller)…even act alike…..counterpart John Madden…..but any way you cut the pie….Summerall and Madden were truly “A Match Made In Heaven”….for these two men educated generations of football fans all over the world on the game of professional football…..and any footage of the two is priceless.
