Olympics – 1984 Los Angeles – Basketball – Mens Finals – USA VS Spain – 1st Half Pt 2

DOG ASIDE:

As the 1984 USA men’s basketball team rolled through the eight (8) game schedule to win the gold medal at the Los Angeles Olympic Games…..the top three (3) scoring averages were Michael Jodan with 17.1 ppg….Chris Mullin with 11.6 ppg…..Patrick Ewing with 11.0 ppg….and Steve Alford with 10.3 ppg.  The top rebounders were Wayman Tisdale with 8.6 rpg….followed by Sam Perkins with 7.6 rpg….then Patrick Ewing with 5.6 rpg.  The top assists givers were Leon Wood with 7.9 apg….followed by Steve Alford with 3.3 apg….then Chris Mullen with 3 apg……while the top blocks per game were posted by Sam Perkins at 1.5 bpg….followed by Leon Wood with 1.0 bpg…..and the came Alvin Robertson w/ 0,06 bpg.  This team was carried basically on the shoulders of three future NBA Hall of Fame inductees of Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullin.
