Salvatore Todisco (August 30, 1961 in Naples – November 25, 1990) was a flyweight boxer from Italy….who won the silver medal in the light flyweight division (48 kg) at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. In the final he was defeated by Paul Gonzales of the United States in a walk-over. Leading up to the finals fight with Gonzales….Todisco defeated Gerald Hawkins of Ireland 5 – 0…..then a 4 – 1 victory in this video fight against Rafael Ramos of Puerto Rico….followed by a defeat of Keith Mwila of Zambia by 5-0.
Todisco was killed in a car accident 25 November 1990 at the age of 29.
Rafael “Fito” Ramos (born January 1, 1965) is a retired boxer from Puerto Rico….who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics….while twice winning medals (gold and bronze) at the Pan American Games during his career.
