This video begins with ABC’s Howard Cosell bringing the light welterweight boxing match between the USA’s Jerry Page vs Yugoslavia’s Mirko Puzovic. Puzovic was a veteran amateur….having had 300 fights with only 25 losses….as his opponent USA Jerry Page was almost 8 years younger.
This was an exciting fight….and having it brought to the viewer by the legendary Cosell….is just “icing on the cake” for me….cuz nobody ever has or ever will bring a fight as well and with as much color and excitement as Howaaaad Cosell.
