Sports Illustrated has been the gold standard of sports publications since it inception in 1958…..and it is my bet that Bone Daddy has probably looked at and through maybe 75% of every weekly publication….plus special edition publications of SI….since the 1st copy came off the press. He tells me all the time who Sports Illustrated is touting as future stars in sports….which appeared in pictures of 6 – 8 young athletes still in high school or younger….whom SI would write a little synopsis of what each future star did that was outstanding or exceptional at a young age. This section always appeared at the back of each weekly addition.
In this final segment of the Sports Illustrated 25 Year Anniversary Show….the video reveals many more of the great athletes….over the original first 25 years of the magazine’s publication…..in many various sports….who left lasting impressions with sports fans and Sportsphiles everywhere.
