DOG ASIDE:
There were many stars on the Los Angeles horizon during the entire 1984 Summer Olympics….just U S stars alone include Mary Lou Retton, Jeff Blatnick, Michael Jordan, Evelyn Ashford, Greg Louganis, et al….I could go on and on…..but by the time that sprinter Carl Lewis and 400m hurdler Edwin Moses reach the L A Games….their stars were already shining brightly in the skies above Los Angeles.
