Women’s marathon runner Joan Benoit was the reason for Bone Daddy’s infamous Olympic fan record at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics…..as the first event that BD saw live after arriving for the L A Games was the women’s marathon….which Joan Benoit won. It was such an exciting victory around town amongst Olympic fans everywhere….for an American runner to win gold….as it had never been done before. The excitement was so strong that traveling partners…..Bone Daddy, Sky Pilot and Prince of Pleasure….decided to try to make history by becoming the 1st Olympic fans ever….to see a live sporting event in all the sports at the L A Games.
