TV Ads – 1978 – Chevy Chase On Minorities & Jacqueline Smith For Wella Balsam & Jerry Lewis Telethon

DOG ASIDE:

Every now and then….we will throw in some “spoof ads” that are supposed to look, taste and feel like a real television commercial….but rather are comedic satires aimed at not only the “television ad industry”….but also the more than humorous “gullible buying public”…..and then once in a blue moon…there will be a Public Service Message regarding some very important social subject like MINORITIES…like the one delivered by comedian Chevy Chase in this 1979 message.

Also included in this series of vintage product’s is a piece on Sally Hamson’s Hard As Nails Polish with Nylon….and we at ImaSportsphile are not sure if this is a “spoof ad” or not….as it is followed by the always lovely Jacqueline Smith for Wella Balsohm Shampoo.  Next comes another public message regarding what to do when someone is choking….and how to apply the Heimlich maneuver…..as this video then shifts to a Lone Star Beer commercials at the State Fair of Texas….before an Austin Channel 36 promo with Jerry Lewis on the upcoming Jerry Lewis Telethon.
