The brand is owned by Kontoor Brands Inc….which also owns Lee brands jeans and clothing…..with Its headquarters is in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina….which has production plants in a variety of locations throughout the world.
Schick was founded in 1926 by Jacob Schick as the Magazine Repeating Razor Company….when in that same year….Schick introduced its highly successful single blade safety razor system….which stored twenty blades in a steel injector. Schick sold the company in 1928 to start another unrelated company bearing his name which marketed his newly invented electric shavers.
Casual Corner was an American retail clothing chain founded in 1950…..which operated stores under the names Casual Corner, Petite Sophisticate and August Max Woman brands among others. Casual Corner operated more than 525 stores at its peak.
Oscar Snowden’s TV & Applince Stores have been an Austin, Texas staple for televisions and appliances since Bone Daddy went to school at The University of Texas in 1965…..as the original Sportsphile says he bought a television set from The Big O in 1973….so this TV ad seen herewith brings back lots of fond memories of joyful times watching sports on that set.
