DOG COMMENTARY:

Lacks Furniture was as success in 1985….and is still going strong in 2018….as it has become an Austin furniture tradition for shoppers….featuring top-named brands from all over the world.

Horseshoe Bay is a city in Llano and Burnet counties in the U.S. state of Texas….which is located on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson and the south branch of the Colorado River….and it is known in the region for its drag boat racing and other water sports.  Prior to its incorporation in September 2005…. it was a census-designated place (CDP). The CDP population was 3,337 at the 2000 census….which had grown to a population at 3,418 by 2005.

Dallas was an American prime time television soap opera that aired on CBS from April 2, 1978, to May 3, 1991. The series revolved around a wealthy and feuding Texas family, the Ewings….who own the independent oil company Ewing Oil….along with the cattle-ranching land of Southfork. The series originally focused on the marriage of Bobby Ewing and Pamela Barnes….whose families were sworn enemies with each other. As the series progressed, oil tycoon J. R. Ewing became the show’s breakout character….whose schemes and dirty business became the show’s trademark. When the show ended in May 1991, J.R. was the only character to have appeared in every episode.

At the Movies was originally Siskel & Ebert & the Movies was a movie review television program produced by Disney-ABC Domestic Television….in which two film critics share their opinions of newly released films.  Its original hosts were Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel, the former hosts of Sneak Previews on PBS (1975–1982)….and a similarly-titled syndicated series (1982–1986). Following Siskel’s death in 1999, Ebert worked with various guest critics until choosing Chicago Sun-Times colleague Richard Roeper as his regular partner in 2000.
