Having Jayne Kennedy pitch Tab Cola is like having Athena,Venus and Aphrodite sell your product….as Tab Cola picked the perfect spokesperson for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics television ad campaign…. for Kennedy was a wonderful combination of beauty and athleticism….and certainly one of the true beauties in the universe of female sportscasters along with Gayle Gardner (ESPN + NBC fame) and Phyllis George (CBS NFL Today fame). Tab Cola is the oldest diet soda on the market today…which was originally named Tab because the Coca Cola Bottling Company did not at the time want to associate with anything diet….so they packaged it as Tab….and even though Diet Coke blew by them like a hurricane…. Tab is still sold at major retailers in 2018.
