DOG COMMENTARY:

This video clip is just awesome…..as it focuses on the world of sports as seen through the comedic minds of Joe Piscopo and Eddie Murphy….and the discerning mind of renowned sports columnist of the New York Daily News Mike Lupica.

Joe Piscopo is an American comedian, actor, musician, writer, and a nationally syndicated radio talk show host….who is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live in the early 1980’s where he played a variety of recurring characters….with the sportscaster being his most popular.

Eddie Murphy is an American comedian, actor, writer, singer, and producer….as Murphy was a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984….where he joined Joe Piscopo at the sports desk impersonating a famous sports figure.  He has worked as a stand-up comedian and was ranked # 10 on Comedy Central’s list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time….plus he has starred in many successful motion pictures including successful box office flicks like Trading Places, Beverly Hills Cops, 48 Hours, The Nutty Professor and Dreamgirls.

Michael Lupica is an American newspaper columnist….who is best known for his provocative commentary on sports in the New York Daily News….and his appearances on ESPN….who writes several sports columns during the week for the Daily News….as well as a signature Sunday column, “Shooting from the Lip”….which features a traditional column followed by a series of short, acerbic observations from the week in sports….plus he writes a regular political column entitled “Mondays with Mike”….which is strongly liberal in orientation.

  • The Murmanschanns, what a duo, I remember them from this show, the Muppets, Sesame Street and other shows. They are the most unique mime artists to grace this Earth. I thought they were amazing and these two routines prove it.
