Movie – Walt Disney Animation – Lady And The Tramp

DOG COMMENTARY:

This video holds special meaning to this lil ole chiweenie Sportsphile….cuz first of all, it is 15th original animation film produce by Walt Disney…..and a Bone Daddy puts it….all the kids of the Baby Boomer generation were weened on Walt Disney animated films….but more important to me….Tramp, the main character in this film, reminds me of my daddy “Hans”, a weenie dog of the highest order….who grew up on the street, just like Tramp….who just had a certain aire that surrounded him and made him very attractive to dang near every female in the hood where I was born.

Lady and the Tramp is a 1955 American animated romantic musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney and released to theaters on 22 June 1955 by Buena Vista Distribution….as this the 15th Disney animated feature film was the first animated feature filmed in the CinemaScope widescreen film process.

Based on Happy Dan, The Whistling Dog by Ward Greene….Lady and the Tramp tells the story of a female American Cocker Spaniel named Lady….who lives with a refined, upper-middle-class family…..and a male stray mutt named Tramp. When the two dogs meet, they embark on many romantic adventures. A direct-to-video sequel, Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure, was released in 2001.

Any way you cut the pie….Lady and the Tramp is MUST SEE TV for any and all kids and their moms and dads…..for this is truly a rare gem in our treasure chest of vintage content….which depicts the lifestyles of the Baby Boomers in the mid-1950’s.
